Jennie Lucas' Biography

Jennie Lucas graduated from Kent State University with a degree in English in 1998, but it wasn't until 2006, after she'd written eight full manuscripts, that she got the magical call from London that turned her into a published author. To think she almost gave up writing that book on chapter three! She'd heard rumors that Harlequin Presents didn't want new American authors, and though she loved the story she feared she was wasting her time. Presents author Trish Morey, fellow Golden Heart finalist and Wet Noodle Posse sister, convinced her to ignore the rumors and finish the book anyway--and The Greek Billionaire's Baby Revenge was published in 2007!

Jennie lives in Idaho with her husband and two young children. She loves to travel anytime, anywhere--whether alone, with her husband, or with the whole family. For one thing, travel always makes her appreciate coming home! She loves a clean house, particularly if she can convince
someone else (anyone!) to clean it. Thinking of what to cook for dinner is the bane of her life, but she makes an exception for desserts--her famous butterscotch-white chocolate-macadamia nut brownie recipe, which took her three years to create, is a big family secret that will only be passed down to her children.

Her favorite food is chicken tikka masala, her favorite drink is Diet Coke. She loves the Wall Street Journal and All My Children. Other sinfully guilty pleasures: candy and Coach handbags!
