Janette Kenny's Biography
Janette Kenny grew up on her family's farm in Kansas, dreaming up plots and characters for the stories she yearned to write. While she was fascinated by mysteries, she fell in love with romance novels, thanks to finding her grandmother’s cache of Harlequin novels.
Her dream of being a published author came true in 2007 when Kensington Publishing offered a two-book contract. When the second book was finished, she followed through on her secret dream – she wrote her first Harlequin Presents. She was thrilled beyond words when it was accepted.
In her free time she gardens, reads, and shops, especially for shoes or boots! She loves to travel, learn about different cultures and sample regional cuisine.
She shares her home with a chow-shepherd mix dog that she rescued from the local pound. When the weather and time permits, she enjoys taking long walks.
